Behind Quiet Proof is a VERY loud
MY STORY
I’m a girl from Pensacola, Florida, whose MSW has taken her places she probably could not have imagined when she graduated from Florida State. Over the last 15 years, social work has allowed me to have several careers inside of one profession—and I fully expect to squeeze at least three to five more out of it before I’m done.
For eight of those years, I worked as a travel social worker. That meant going where the work was and learning quickly how different healthcare can look depending on where you land. I worked on the frontlines during COVID. I worked in a rural Alaskan village accessible only by boat or plane. I worked with Dr. Now and his bariatric clients in Houston. I worked with Amish communities in Pennsylvania. I moved through hospitals, rehabilitation settings, community health, medical social work, behavioral health, leadership, and everything that came with caring for people inside very different systems.
I saw a lot of good. I also saw a lot of disparities—between communities, healthcare systems, resources, geography, culture, and access. And somewhere in all of that, one thing became very clear to me: regardless of location, income, status, diagnosis, or background, people are still people. Sometimes they simply need the kindness of another person. And mental health is health.
In 2023, I felt myself being pulled back toward clinical mental health. I joined a group practice, but I quickly realized I was being asked to function as a one-size-fits-all clinician. Anyone who knows me knows that is not in my DNA. I am not meant to be everybody’s cup of tea, and I stopped seeing that as something I needed to fix.
By 2025, I had finally put enough of the imposter syndrome to the side to accept that my experience, judgment, skills, and expertise deserved their own platform and space to shine. Establishing a solo practice felt natural. As the only girl of four children, independence has been baked into me for a very long time.
Not too shabby for a girl from Pensacola.
And through every version of my career—the traveler, the medical social worker, the leader, the therapist, the evaluator, the supervisor, the business owner—I keep coming back to the same truth...
life has truly molded me into the clinician I am today, because baby I have lived!

Beyond Clinical Practice
As a neurodivergent baddie, my joys outside of the office have to be novel and stimulating. Travel, photography, food, and Hello Kitty scratch all of those itches.
You can typically find me on a plane in a window seat with an overpriced salad, in a gift shop hunting for a new Hello Kitty item to add to my collection, capturing hidden moments with my camera, or chasing Michelin stars and letting my palate enjoy a memorable meal.
While my logistical mind has helped advance my career, I have to give just as much time and attention to my creative side. That balance keeps the juices flowing and gives my brain enough incentive to make it through the mundane tasks that come with being a functioning adult.
WHY “QUIET PROOF”?
Quiet Proof Clinical Services evolved from Serenity Space Therapy and Supervision. Serenity Space began as a place centered on therapy, supervision, and thoughtful support. As the practice developed, the work became broader, more investigative, and more focused on helping people understand not only what was happening, but why it was happening and what continued to sustain it. Quiet Proof reflects that evolution. The name represents the belief that meaningful work does not need to be loud, performative, or overstated to make an impact. Careful preparation, substantial research, integrity, clarity, and consistent practice create their own evidence. Serenity Space remains part of the foundation. Quiet Proof is the next expression of that work—more precise, more expansive, and more aligned with the way the practice has grown.
